When is the best time to sell my home?
You've probably heard of the Spring Selling Season, right? While the spring real estate market is traditionally a strong one, there isn't a bad time to sell your home. What is more important is taking into consideration your personal needs - are you relocating? Is there a reason you need to sell?
How much is my home worth?
In order to set a price for your home, a real estate agent will look at similar homes in your area that have recently sold. Then through a CMA (comparative market analysis) your agent will determine what a fair market value is for your home. While it is important to get the highest price possible in the current market, it's also important to remember that overpricing your home will often result in ultimately selling your home for less than if it was correctly priced from the beginning.
